The Oklahoma Baptist Bible Fellowship met in Claremore, OK, on December 4-5, 2023. Monday evening included dinner at a local Mexican restaurant and a time of fellowship. Tuesday morning, they met at Harvest Baptist Church, pastored by Tim Lindsey.
There were three preachers at the meeting. Andy Plunk, pastor of Maranatha Baptist Temple in Collinsville, OK, preached on dealing with discouragement. Phil Housley, pastor of Park Crest Baptist Church in Springfield, MO, preached on overcoming the battles we face. The third preacher was Steve Sanders from Solomon Ministries.
Marty Hughes, the Oklahoma State Representative and Chairman, shared, “The meeting was well attended and very encouraging. Great things are happening in Oklahoma, and I am excited to see what God will do in the coming year.”
Philip Wright, who is a World Initiative Network (W.I.N.) missionary, was in attendance. He shared, “I was welcomed in as family at my first OK BBF meeting, and the variety of ministry leaders was a great encouragement to me. Pastors Andy Plunk & Phil Housley shared powerful and heartfelt messages about overcoming during different seasons in ministry. My heart was blessed to be a part.”
