The Texas Baptist Bible Fellowship held its April meeting and leadership conference April 13–14, 2026, at The Brook Church in Tomball, TX, pastored by Robby Pollard. The meeting provided pastors and ministry leaders with two refreshing days of preaching, leadership training, fellowship, and encouragement following the busy Easter season.
Built around the theme “Ready for This Season,” the conference was designed to help ministry leaders rest, reset, and refocus for the next season of ministry. Attendees were challenged to return home spiritually renewed, practically equipped, and ready for what God has next.
The event featured a strong lineup of speakers addressing a variety of ministry needs. Sessions focused on renewed passion in preaching, building healthy teams, reaching the next generation, navigating rebuilding seasons, long-term ministry health, and personal growth as leaders.
Those who attended also enjoyed the warm hospitality Texas is known for, including great barbecue, authentic fellowship, and a night together at the ballpark. Many stuck around an extra day to enjoy a Houston Astros baseball game. The relaxed setting gave pastors valuable time to connect, laugh, share ministry stories, and encourage one another.
One of the clear strengths of the meeting was its intentional balance of biblical teaching and practical encouragement. In a season when many pastors come off Easter both grateful and exhausted, the conference offered a timely opportunity to breathe deeply, be refreshed, and gain fresh clarity for the road ahead.
