The Oklahoma Baptist Bible Fellowship gathered October 19–20 at Word of Life Church in Coweta, Oklahoma, hosted by Pastor Chris Collins and the church family as part of their Fall Revival.
On Monday evening, John Stroup of Freeway Ministries preached a message titled “The Recipe for Failure.” More than 90 were in attendance, and the altars were full as those gathered responded to the message. The evening concluded with a meal and time of fellowship.
Tuesday’s meeting centered on the theme “The Comeback.” Shane Peters, pastor of Heatherridge Baptist Church in Tulsa, and Steve Rains, pastor of Heritage Baptist Church in Edmond, both preached encouraging messages that challenged and strengthened those in attendance.
Between the messages, host pastor Chris Collins shared his personal testimony, recounting his journey from missionary kid to church planter. He spoke candidly about the hard lessons learned and difficult decisions faced along the way, offering encouragement to fellow pastors navigating the challenges of ministry.
The gathering also provided opportunities for fellowship, a question-and-answer session, and a time of fellowship for the ladies. The meeting concluded with fellowship business and lunch.
