The Oklahoma Baptist Bible Fellowship gathered for its April state meeting on April 13–14, 2026, at Grace Harbor Baptist Church in Grove. The meeting brought pastors and ministry leaders together for fellowship, encouragement, practical training, and prayer.
Hosted by Marty Hughes, pastor of Grace Harbor Church, the event began Monday evening with a barbecue dinner at the home of retired BBFI Army Chaplain Bill Wehlage. The meal provided a great opportunity for pastors and guests to enjoy time together before the services began.
Special guest Terry Thompson, president of Small Church USA, spoke Monday night on “Five Steps for Renewal” from the book of Haggai. His message challenged attendees to pursue spiritual renewal and a renewed vision for their ministries. The evening concluded with a focused time of prayer.
On Tuesday, Thompson continued by speaking on the subjects of strategy and leadership, offering practical insights and encouragement to the pastors in attendance. His sessions were well received and provided helpful tools for ministry leadership in today’s environment.
The meeting concluded with one of Grace Harbor’s annual traditions, the church’s Fish Fry for preachers, capping off two meaningful days of fellowship and strengthening among Oklahoma pastors.
