On Monday, December 4, 2023, the Missouri Baptist Bible Fellowship met in Aurora, MO, at Aurora Baptist Temple, which is pastored by Nathan Burch. The theme of the meeting was “Keeping the Faith in Seasons of Doubt.” The two preachers were Bob Stephenson, pastor of Graceway Baptist Church in Springfield, MO, and Eddie Lyons, pastor of High Street Baptist Church in Springfield, MO. In addition to the two sermons, host pastor Nathan Burch interviewed his dad, Leland Burch. The elder Burch has been in ministry for over 40 years and currently serves as the senior adult pastor at Aurora Baptist Temple.
Kevin Kolb and the leadership of the MO BBF has been working hard to keep the Fellowship organized and meeting regularly. They have their six meetings already scheduled and planned for the 2024 calendar. Kolb shared of this meeting, “We were reminded of God’s grace, goodness, and provision for us, especially in times of doubt and discouragement.”
Nathan Burch said of the meeting, “I thought it was very well attended and left both challenged and encouraged. Both preachers did a great job of reminding us of God’s faithfulness when we have seasons of doubt in the ministry. Thank you to Aurora Baptist Temple for it’s hospitality and all those who were in attendance.”
