On January 2, 2022, Restoration Church of Sanford, FL, held its first service with over 70 in attendance. The “soft launch” was a great opportunity to prepare for their official launch this Sunday, January 16, 2022. Restoration Church is a church plant sponsored by Orlando Baptist Church and pastor Dustin Janney. Restoration Church is pastored by Arthur Goncalves, a BBFI approved church planter. Goncalves stated, “God has been faithful to us. We are so excited about the days ahead.”
Restoration Church is focused on reaching the lost of Sanford, FL, a suburb of Orlando. They have been working for the past year to minister in the area and build their base to launch. For several months they have been meeting on Thursday nights to Pray for Sanford and have already seen several saved.
Arthur is married to Jessica, and they have four children.
