More Church Planters Part of the APEX Assessment

Granbury, TX

The future health of the Baptist Bible Fellowship is at least partially dependent upon the advancement of new churches being started. 2022 looks to be a good year for church planting in the BBFI. From Monday, March 7 through Wednesday, March 9, the BBFI’s APEX assessment team met at Granbury Baptist Church in Granbury, TX, to assess three new potential church planters. These planters represent churches in Kansas, South Dakota, and Alabama.

The assessment team continues to grow, as does the excitement for church planting within the BBFI. This team assesses candidates on many skills such as entrepreneurial and preaching as well as their marriage and family, spiritual health, and character.

The BBFI APEX Church Planter Assessment team consists of Terry and Cheryl Kizer, Randy Adams, Lonnie, and Heather Lehrman, Lonnie and Disty Short, Dan Greer, Chris Kitts, Bradley Speer, Greg Baxter, Phil Webber, and Randy Harp. Others are included to help evaluate preaching ability and used to form a “Shark Tank” panel.

APEX also provides training and coaching for church planters. The vision of APEX Churches is for every single church in the BBFI to be passionately engaged in planting, funding, and serving a new church.

The next APEX Church Planter Assessment will take place October 3-5, 2022, in Granbury, TX. Click here to learn more and begin the process.
