March 11, 2018 a new church building was dedicated in the village of Vikawe. The new building measures 60 feet by 22 feet, which is standard size in Tanzania and will accommodate a minimum of 150 people. Veteran missionary, Vernon Smith, points out that the old church building can be seen inside the new church building during the construction stage. Smith adds that a team from his church will also be going to the village of Bwawani March 19-24 to put a roof on their new church building.
