MO BBF Meets in St. Charles

Grace Baptist Church and pastor Kevin Kolb welcomed the MO BBF to St. Charles on Friday, December 3, 2021. The theme of the meeting was “Rejoice,” with three sermons focused on that topic. Joshua Matthews, pastor of Meadowview Baptist Church in Republic, MO, spoke on Rejoicing in Christ. Keith Gillming, pastor emeritus of Lighthouse Baptist Church of St. Ann, MO, spoke on Rejoicing in our Calling. Bob Stephenson, pastor of Graceway Baptist Church of Springfield, MO, spoke on Rejoicing in our Co-Laborers.

After the meeting concluded, many enjoyed an evening at St. Charles’ historic Main Street and their Christmas Traditions Festival. Tyler Shores, Family Life Pastor at Graceway Baptist Church, attended the meeting and had this to say about it. “My wife Kendall and I were so blessed to the December MOBBF meeting. We enjoyed our time in the Word, our time away as a couple, and our time with the rest of our pastoral staff. The highlight of our trip was visiting historic downtown St. Charles. Everything from the Christmas lights to Grandma’s Cookie Shop to the street performers made for a memorable evening. We are looking forward to visiting again with our two daughters.”
