Gospel Life Church of Wichita, KS was launched on January 31, 2021. On August 22 they celebrated their first public baptisms. Pastor Chase Hill shared, “This is a momentous day in the life of our church. We are praying this is the first of many baptism Sundays.”
Chase along with his wife, Rachel, moved to Wichita in 2018. They began hosting Bible studies in 2019 and planned to launch their church in 2020. The launch team had a dinner meeting on March 15, 2020. The next day, basically everything closed in the city, including the public school they were planning to use for their meetings, because of COVID-19.
Westside Baptist Church of Hutchinson, KS, pastored by BBFI president, Tim Adrian, is the sending church.
