Nominee for 2nd Vice-President (Education)

Ed Trinkle, The Warehouse Church, Richardson, TX

Ed and Kim Trinkle have been married 33 years, have 3 married daughters, and 1 daughter is a sophomore at BBC Springfield, MO. They also have 2 grandkids and 1 on the way. Ed has his B.S. from BBC (1994) and a Masters Degree in Pastoral Counseling from Andersonville Theological Seminary (2014). He is the lead pastor of Warehouse Church in Richardson, TX. The Warehouse Church is a replant that has been transformed physically, financially and spiritually. Since selling their property the Warehouse Church is in a relocation project. The church is retro fitting a Warehouse space of 32,000 sq ft into a new home for the growing work. Ed has lead 3 churches through major revitalization; through strategic leadership, fearless decision making and most importantly the leading of the Holy Spirit of God.

Ed is not only a graduate of BBC but has also worked at the College as Campus Chaplain and Recruiter. Three of his daughters have attended BBFI colleges (2 in Springfield, MO, 1 in Boston). He loves our schools and desires to be part of revitalizing our educational arm of the BBFI. Our fellowship schools represent so many great things of the BBFI, but they are not growing. The schools also represent some of the division we have experienced. The greatest way we can honor our past is to make difficult, courageous decisions, to rebuild our schools to be at the forefront of our fellowship. I would work with the officers of our fellowship, and our college presidents to make our schools be at the forefront of ministry preparation, have modern facilities we can be proud of, and change our role of being schools “helped by churches”, to schools equipping churches. We need to revitalize our schools; physically, financially and spiritually knowing the future of church planting and foreign missions is depending on it.

Nominee for 3rd Vice-President (Church Planting)

Sean Sears, Grace Church, Boston, MA

Grace Church was planted in 2005 and started its first baby church in 2008. They've since planted a total of 4 churches, with a fifth coming in September, and are meeting in two locations. God has blessed Grace with a multi-racial congregation (45% white, 35% black, 15% Latino and 5% Asian) that accurately reflects the surrounding community and saw 154 people baptized in 2017.

Sean was raised as a pastor's son in the BBF and has always been passionate about seeing it thrive as a church planting organization. His heart is to help churches remove the barriers that prevent them from becoming sending-churches. God has given him the opportunity to serve as a church planting catalyst with the North American Mission Board and is helping develop the relaunch of Purpose Driven Church Planting with Saddleback Church. He is currently mentoring several BBF planters and missionaries in their church planting and fund-raising initiatives. He believes the best way to build the kind of base we need to support the missions program that we dream of is to plant more churches here at home. If every church were to support at least one BBF church planter, we might see that happen!

Sean holds a Bachelor's Degree in Church Ministry from Baptist Bible College and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum Development from Colorado Christian University. Sean and his wife Billie have been married since 1993 and have a son who graduated with a degree in Business and Missions from Boyce College, a daughter finishing her first year in nursing at Cedarville University and a son finishing his freshman year in high school.

Nominee for Treasurer

Keith Harrington, Rockharbor Church, Meridian, ID

Keith is the founding and lead pastor at Rockharbor Church in Meridian, Idaho. He has been married to his Baptist Bible College sweetheart, Chrisanna, for almost 20 years. God has blessed the Harrington’s with 7 children. As a family, they enjoy camping, backpacking, anything outdoors, athletics, and spontaneous adventures. They rarely get invited over for dinner due to their family size, so they eat at the Costco Food Court often.

Keith graduated from Baptist Bible College in 1998 and shortly after, God led the Harrington’s to Boise, Idaho. They served at Bridgepoint Church for 13 years ministering to students and families. In 2012, the Harrington’s planted Rockharbor Church in Meridian, Idaho in a public high school. God has grown the church and they currently have four services on Sunday. Thus far, they have seen many lives changed for Christ and just over 750 baptized. This summer Rockharbor will break ground on their new facility, which features a 1400-seat worship center. Six years has flown by and God has done an amazing work through a growing group of “Real Stinkin’ People.” At Rockharbor, we don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we take the Gospel seriously.

Church planting is the heart of Rockharbor and in 2016 they were able to personally send out an autonomous local church with more than 300 people. Keith leads a church planting and revitalizing team called The City Network. With Idaho currently being the fastest growing state in the nation, there are not near enough churches to reach the 300,000 new residents the Boise community will receive by 2033. Keith and his team have a goal to plant and revitalize 100 churches in 15 years. People may be moving to Boise for our great city and climate, but we believe that through our great community of churches who are on mission they will meet Jesus.
