Victory Baptist Celebrates 25th Anniversary

On Sunday, April 22, Victory Baptist Church in Nixa, MO celebrated its 25thanniversary with 150 in attendance, three new families joining and special guest Joe Decker, pastor of South Campbell Avenue Baptist Church in Springfield, MO. One week prior, Jonathan Krawczyk was installed as the new pastor. Krawczyk follows Ray Brinson, which served as pastor from 1998 – 2018.

Victory Baptist was organized April 4, 1993 at South Campbell Avenue Baptist Church under Oran Cobb. Jim Cooper was called to be the first pastor of Victory. When Brinson assumed the leadership of the church they were meeting in a warehouse. In his second year the church purchased a house and ten acres of property and began raising money to build its first building. Supported by BBF Builders and New Testament Church Planters the first service was held in the new building May 6, 2001. In 2006 the church added a family life center. Today, the appraised value of property and facilities is two million dollars. The church has had multiple mission interns that are now serving around the world as missionaries and pastors.
