Vance Havner once wrote, “Throughout the history of the Church, when clouds have hung lowest, when sin has seemed blackest and faith has been weakest, there have always been a faithful few who have not sold out to the devil…These have besought the Lord to revive His work in the midst of the years, and in the midst of the fears and tears, and in wrath to remember mercy. God has always answered such supplication, filling each heart with His love, rekindling each soul with Fire from above.”
There are pastors, missionaries and Christian workers around the world who desire to see the stirring of God’s hand upon our movement. They are praying that God will rekindle each soul with fire from above! Christian leaders from around the globe will meet next month in Savannah, Georgia, to attend our first BBFI February Church Planting meeting. Pastor Herb Hubbard and the fine people of Bible Baptist Church have made the material preparations for a successful meeting (they have always been such great hosts). Now, let’s do our part spiritually by calling upon the Lord to rain down His blessings upon this meeting. We want revival! Let it begin with us!
I’m challenging you to spend time fasting and praying (Mark 9:29) for God’s presence to be so real that as we leave this meeting we leave with the spirit of revival in our souls. It’s time that we move from a state of survival to a state of revival!
