Midway Baptist Church of Lewes, DE, pastored by BBC graduate Gary Hayden, moved into their new 10,000 square foot building in January. The building includes office space, classrooms and a 350-seat auditorium. When the church started 34 years ago it was named after the area it was located in. With the church now in a different area, the congregation decided it was an appropriate time to change the name. The new name is The Lighthouse, A Baptist Church. Hayden was called to pastor the church in 2006. The church was averaging 35 in attendance at the time. Since moving into the new building the average attendance is 165.
