Will you be one of the many who will be attending the 2020 BBFI Global Meeting in Costa Rica? Already, people from Asia, Africa, Europe, and all-over Latin America are planning to attend this exciting event July 6-9, 2020.
The theme is 2020 – The Same Visionwith an emphasis on the vision of God, Jesus, the BBFI and all of us together. This event will give praise to God for what He has done through the BBFI. It will also bring our brothers and sisters from around the world together with the common goal of fulfilling the Great Commission.
The newly-built National Convention Center in San José, Costa Rica has been secured. BBFI Missionary, John Barnes, and the national leaders are already making plans to assure this meeting will be a great success. Their churches are already preparing to host us. I know they will do a fantastic job. The music will be uplifting and will include a variety of choirs from different countries.
Speakers from Vietnam, Korea, Japan, Uganda, Pakistan, Peru, Brazil, the Philippines, USA and a few others are preparing to challenge us from God’s Word to focus on maintaining a 20/20 Vision for reaching our world with the Gospel.
The Mission Office is putting together a group package for those who want to travel with us and participate in some planned tours. This package will include airfare from DFW, tours of a volcano, a visit to a coffee processing plant, water gardens and forests, a zipline, and more. The travel package will be for July 3-11, 2020, and will include bus transportation from and to the airport, the organized tours, as well as to and from the meetings. Plan to attend this special event, July 6-9, 2020. Those who attended previous Global Meetings in the Philippines (2011) and Korea (2016) came away challenged to do more for world missions. Many who attended from other countries shared they were not aware that they were part of something so large that God was doing across the globe through the BBFI. We believe there will be 3,000 attending the meetings that week.
Costa Rica is a great place to visit and there are many things to see. However, the main thing to witness at this meeting is what God has done among the believers in Costa Rica and experience their love for God and for missions. You will certainly not come away disappointed. Plus, they have great mango shakes!! Pura Vida!
