On September 29, 2019 Aurora Baptist Church of Aurora, MO celebrated its 70th anniversary. Nathan Burch is the senior pastor. Burch states, “It was a day full of celebration and excitement.” There were 360 in attendance for the morning service which was followed by a picnic on the lawn. In 70 years, Aurora Baptist Temple has given over $3,000,000 to missions and sent out dozens of families into the ministry. Currently the church gives $175,000 per year to missions. In the church’s 70 years, there have been over 2,500 salvations and more than 1,500 baptisms. The church has also been through seven building programs.
