A note of thanks

by Wayne Guinn

Gratitude overwhelms me. I must say thank you to the Tribune and Keith Bassham for sharing the emphasis of the Savannah meeting with the NCPO. Keith has been one of our strongest supporters and I greatly appreciate his friendship. I also want to say thank you to Herb Hubbard for hosting the meeting and allowing us to have such a large block of time to expose so many new church plants to our Fellowship. I would be totally remiss if I didn’t say thank you to all the church planters who came and shared their hearts and testimonies with us. As they shared their hearts, passion, excitement, and enthusiasm, these church planters were like a fresh breath of God on our meeting. I must say thank you to all the state chairmen who worked with me to help get our church planters to the meeting. Some of the states helped these young men in a financial way to make it possible for them to come to Savannah.

I also wish to say thank you to all the pastors who have agreed to become “Church Bank Churches.” This is a campaign to infuse new capital into the NCPO to help us continue to be able to make low-interest loans to new churches. For more information about this program contact us at (417) 889-1017 or e-mail us at office@bbfincpo.com.

February has been a good month here at the NCPO. Along with making plans and arrangements for the Savannah meeting, we have been preparing for the April 19-23 NCPO Church Planting School in Texas. We are also preparing for the RPM Conference concurrent with the church planting school. Loan requests have been very active this month and that’s always exciting seeing new churches step out to buy their first pieces of property and move into their own buildings. It is an indication to us that church planting is moving in the right direction. Thanks for helping us make a difference.
