2017 Annual RIBBI Fellowship Meeting

Monterey, Mexico

The RIBBI fellowship hosted their annual meeting in Monterey, Mexico with special guests, Jim Childress, BBFI missionary to Panama, and Peter Abrman, BBFI missionary to Slovakia. RIBBI, which is an acronym translated into English as “Network of Interdependent Bible Baptist Churches,” has 27 churches participating and has sent out ten of their own missionaries.

Over 300 attended the fellowship meeting themed “The Celebration of the Impulse of Missions from the Americas,” or CIMA for short. Each church presented a skit during the meeting, some relating to local traditions and others to the history of missions. The event organizer and leader of the RIBBI fellowship is BBFI missionary Brian Brown. Brown states that approximately a dozen individuals surrendered to full-time missions during the event.

Brian states about the RIBBI fellowship, “Our vision is for every church to reproduce itself in a 3.5.7.10 pattern. From start to 3 years to reproduce itself in the metropolitan area. In 5 years to reproduce a church in another city of the same country. In 7 years start a new church in a different country but the same continent. In 10 years to reach out to the uttermost parts of the world with new churches being started.”
