The Oklahoma Baptist Bible Fellowship met October 20–21, 2025, at Word of Life Church in Coweta for a two-day gathering marked by preaching, fellowship, and meaningful conversations about ministry challenges and opportunities. The meeting, hosted by Chris Collins and the Word of Life Church, coincided with the church’s Fall Revival, creating a strong spiritual atmosphere for pastors and ministry leaders from across the state.
The meeting began Monday evening with a powerful message from Lonnie Lehrman of Granbury, Texas. Known for his encouraging spirit and practical preaching, Lehrman brought a timely challenge to the pastors and guests present. Attendees also appreciated the opportunity to support Word of Life during their revival services.
Tuesday’s session opened with donuts and coffee, followed by a message from Jason Blackshire of Freeway Ministries Oklahoma. His heartfelt preaching, rooted in the transformative power of the gospel, deeply resonated with those in attendance. A round table discussion addressed several current issues facing local churches, allowing pastors to share insights and strengthen one another. The morning concluded with a message from Adam Mask. pastor of Community Baptist Church.
The annual business meeting followed the morning sessions. During this time, Marty Hughes, pastor of Grace Harbor Church in Grove, Oklahoma, was reelected as State Chairman and State Representative. Chris Collins, pastor of Word of Life Church in Coweta, Oklahoma, was reelected as Vice Chairman. The election reflected a strong spirit of unity and confidence in the continued leadership of these pastors.
