Oklahoma BBF Pastors’ Wives Celebrate Sisterhood and Connection

Pastors’ wives from across the Oklahoma Baptist Bible Fellowship gathered for their annual Ladies Retreat, celebrating “The Roaring Twenties” with a day focused on joy, friendship, and Christ-centered community. The event was hosted by The Path Baptist Church in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, where Pastor Guy Nolen and his wife, Susanna Nolen, welcomed attendees with warmth and excitement.

This year’s event featured guest speaker Marcia Rains from Heritage Baptist Church in Edmond, Oklahoma. Rains delivered a heartfelt and practical message titled “The Joy of Connection,” emphasizing the importance of meaningful relationships in ministry and in daily life. Through creative activities and intentional conversations, she helped women of all ages connect in new and refreshing ways. Many participants shared afterward that they deeply appreciated the opportunity to meet new friends and strengthen existing relationships.

The event was marked by a spirit of unity, encouragement, and genuine sisterhood. “What a sweet spirit of ‘Sisterhood’ and ‘Connection’ was felt strongly at this year’s retreat,” said event organizer Susanna Nolen.

Laughter, prayer, encouragement, and uplifting fellowship filled the day as pastors’ wives enjoyed the opportunity to step away from routine and invest in their own spiritual and emotional health.
