The past few weeks have brought both great highs and challenging lows. This year’s Fellowship Week began with a memorable banquet celebrating the 75th anniversary of our founding. Nearly 200 guests gathered for a wonderful meal, and our host for the evening, Keith Gillming, led us through an enjoyable and heartfelt time of remembering the founders of the BBFI and Baptist Bible College.
The next morning, the Springfield area was struck by several tornadoes. The storms caused significant damage and widespread power outages, including at several hotels where guests were staying. Thankfully, everyone remained safe, and the campus experienced no loss of power. With grateful hearts, we pressed on.
Each service throughout the week featured powerful worship, blending songs from both the past and present. Every speaker pointed us back to the foundational principles on which our Fellowship was built. The founders were driven by a passion to share the gospel, plant churches around the world, and build strong local churches. The messages encouraged us to reflect on that legacy and renew our commitment to take the gospel to the ends of the earth.
Following each evening service, attendees enjoyed food and fellowship, continuing the spirit of connection that has always been a part of Fellowship Week.

This summer will be as busy as ever with several campus improvement projects on our list. We’re also looking forward to another Alumni Work Week, scheduled for July 22–24. More information can be
