CENTERTON, Ark. — Lifepoint Baptist Church in Centerton, Arkansas, celebrated a milestone on Sunday, February 22, 2026, as brothers Titus Gamble and Adam Gamble were ordained into the gospel ministry following a full day of examination, worship, and congregational celebration.
The ordination service marked a meaningful moment not only for the two brothers and their family, but also for the congregation of Lifepoint Baptist Church, where both men currently serve in key ministry roles.
A Day of Examination and Celebration
Members of the ordination council participated throughout the day’s events, beginning with the Sunday morning worship service. Bobby Sharp, pastor of CrossPointe Baptist Church in McFarland, California, delivered a message addressing the biblical purpose and significance of ordination.
The formal ordination council convened at 3:00 p.m. Mike Brinson, pastor of Lifepoint Baptist Church, moderated the examination, guiding Titus and Adam through a prepared series of theological and ministry questions. The brothers alternated responses during the two-hour questioning session, demonstrating their doctrinal convictions, ministry preparation, and pastoral calling.
After deliberation, the council voted unanimously to recommend both candidates for ordination to the church.
The evening ordination service began at 5:00 p.m., drawing a large crowd of church members, family, friends, and guests, with visitors comprising nearly half of those in attendance. During the service, portions of the council’s questioning were shared publicly, allowing the congregation to hear samples of the brothers’ responses before voting by ballot. The church unanimously affirmed both ordinations.
Brinson then delivered a pastoral charge, followed by prayer from each member of the ordination council. The service concluded with expressions of gratitude from the newly ordained ministers and a churchwide potluck celebration. Titus and Adam each received ordination certificates signed by their pastor, the church’s head deacon, and all council members.
