On November 12, 2017 Park Crest Baptist Church celebrated 50 years of ministry in Spring eld, MO. There were many special guests including all living former pastors, Mike Randall, Bob Perryman, and Gary Grey. Other special guests included BBFI president, Eddie Lyons, BBFI Mission Director via video, Jon Konnerup, Baptist Bible College president, Mark Milioni, BBFI Communication Director Randy Harp, and Spring eld mayor, Ken McClure.
Park Crest was a church plant out of South Side Baptist Church in Spring eld, MO. South Side pastor Chadd Harkrider and the entire congregation joined Park Crest for a joint worship service. Special music was performed by Brandt and Staci Leich, former sta members who recently planted Life Church in the Orlando, FL, metro. Gary Grey delivered the sermon followed by current pastor Phil Housley challenging the church to move forward to do even greater things in the future.
