Robert Riley was called as the new pastor of First Coast Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL, on October 1, 2017. The church had been without a pastor since February 1. The church is excited about the Rileys beginning their new ministry. Youth pastor, Shane Dickey, states, “There is an incredible spirit at our church right now. Pastor Riley is passionate about missions and seeing people come to know the Lord.” Riley’s first act as new pastor was serving during the church’s annual mission conference.
Riley and his wife, Janet, moved to Jacksonville from Graniteville, SC where they served at Breezy Hill Baptist Church. He was on staff at Breezy Hill as associate pastor from 1995-2003 and served as senior pastor from 2003-2015.
